Members are encouraged to bring their flowering plants to all monthly meetings. These are displayed in two categories, ‘novice’ and ‘open’. Plants are commented on by NZOS judges and/or visiting judges. Any plant may be acclaimed by the judges for its cultural quality. Members are asked to vote for the orchid they most admire from the ‘novice’ and ‘open’ categories.
